Prochaine rencontre de TRICOT en public, spécial Festiv'art

Comme il reste beaucoup à faire pour recouvrir de tricot notre partie du village de Frelighsburg, et comme nous avons tous et toutes apprécié beaucoup la journée de tricot en public du 9 juin dernier, on remet ça!

Une nouvelle rencontre de tricot en public aura lieu le dimanche 5 aout, au gazebo près du bureau de poste. Cette rencontre aura pour but, en plus de s'assoir ensemble pour tricoter sur place et discuter, de préparer la participation suttonnaise au "projet tricot-graffiti Frelighsburg" et d'amasser les morceaux que tout le monde à tricoté.Apportez vos chaises et vos tricots.On vous invite aussi à apporter votre lunch, ou quelque chose à grignoter et peut-être à partager.

L'espace étant public, et l'initiative étant ouverte à tous, nous invitons tout le monde à se joindre à nous, que ce soit pour tricoter ou discuter, ou simplement s'assoir avec nous!

Le but du tricot graffiti en général est justement simplement d'embellir artistiquement et créativement les espaces publics et de s'approprier ces lieux communs qui sont à notre disposition à tous!

next Knit-in-Public meeting,for Festiv'art

 We're getting ready to cover Frelighsburg in fibers and knitting, and as we all enjoyed a lot our knit in public day on June 9, we want do it again!

 We'll be meeting on Sunday, August 5, at the gazebo near the post office. This meeting, in addition to sit together, chat and knit on site, will be to prepare our Sutton participation in the "graffiti knittingi project Frelighsburg" and gatter everyone's knitting so far.

 Bring your lawn chairs and your knitting.  We also invite you to bring your lunch, or something to munch on and perhaps share.

 The space is public, and the initiative is open to all, we invite everyone to join us, whether to knit or chat, or simply sit with us!

 The purpose of graffiti knitting in general is simply to embellish artistically and creatively our public spaces and to appropriate these places that are available to us all!

Samedi 23 juin 2012- Invitation à tricoter à la St-Jean au parc sur la rueWestern à Sutton

Espace Sutton a pris en main la fête de la St-Jean à Sutton cette année et beaucoup d'activités auront lieu au parc "Goyette-Hill". En plus des différentes animations, il y a à l'horaire:

14 h - 19 h Village des artistes et des artisans

 Artisans au travail et produits régionaux.

17 h - 19 h La grande Tablée

 Les gens pourront manger sur place avec leur pique-nique ou en se procurant la nourriture sur place.

Alors est-ce qu'on se donne rendez-vous n'importe quand entre 14h et 19h pour tricoter ensemble?
On pourra se joindre à la boutique Mont Tricot qui aura une table dans le "village des artisans", mais si l'espace y est restreint, on peut se trouver un endroit où se rassembler et tricoter ensemble... et même peut-être prévoir notre prochain TRICOT EN PUBLIC...?  (pourquoi attendre la journée internationale seulement une fois par année...?)

Saturday June 23th - Invitation to knit at the St Jean in the park on Western Street in Sutton
Espace Sutton took over the organisation of the Sutton St Jean festivities this year and many activities will take place at the park "Goyette-Hill". In addition to various events, there is in the schedule:
2pm - 7pm: artists and artisans village: Craftsmen at work and regional products.
5pm - 7pm: The big Table PicNic  People can eat there with their picnic or buying food locally.
So we could meet there any time between 2 pm and 7pm to knit together?
We could join the  Mont Tricot team that will have a table in the "artisans' village", but if space is limited there, we can find a place to gather and work together ... and perhaps even plan our next KNIT IN PUBLIC ...? (why wait for the international day only once a year ...?)

Tout près de la nouvelle boutique Mon Tricot . La gentille propirétaire contribuera a la journée en distribuant à tous les tricoteurs/tricoteuses en public des billets de tirage pour un certificat cadeau! Les participants du tricot en public auront aussi droit à un rabais de 10% à la boutique.
